The International Tapestry City has a proactive and ambitious policy for contemporary creation. On one hand, it has established a Contemporary Fund (with over 40 works produced in 10 years: winning projects from calls for creation, sponsored commissions, delegated furniture editions, "Carrés d'Aubusson" collection, etc.). On the other hand, it carries out the creation of large tapestries, monumental woven interpretations of works by globally renowned creators such as J.R.R. Tolkien, Hayao Miyazaki, and George Sand.
