This monumental sculpture made of fused and laminated glass was designed for the forecourt of the Musverre Museum in Sars Poteries, Nord department.
A true welcoming signal for visitors, the artwork interacts with the predominantly horizontal volumes of this contemporary building, designed by the architect Raphaël Voinchet.
The massive presence of this double monolith, an 80 mm thick glass block, plays and comes to life through the multiple variations of sunlight that pass through the chromatic depths of the colored glass.
This work is the result of a public commission from the Nord department, with the assistance of the DRAC Hauts de France, and with the support of the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation.
