Manufacturing process

The colours are made from natural pigments and binders (rabbit skin glue). Our colours respect the principles of conservation and give our wallpapers a brilliant matt finish.
Extensive research in this field has enabled us to offer an infinite palette.
The paper is specially made for the Atelier d'Offard, and is first painted - background coating - using large silk brushes. Respecting this ancestral gesture guarantees the pictorial qualities
of our wallpapers.
The printing plate is printed colour after colour, seam after seam, and the paper is painted by applying the plate on a manual press, thus depositing the pictorial layers and giving the finished product the substance, impasto and richness of colour that allow it to bear the true name of wallpaper.
