Monochromes, 2011

These pieces play with the absurd idea of matching a painting with a sofa or vice versa. Monochromes embraces architecture and mixes the typologies of art and design. Here, unlike my previous upholstered furniture, quilting is only used when needed to help the leather fit snugly around the object.
