Consoles pseudosphères

Consoles pseudosphères

The creation of the Console Pseudosphère began with sketches, followed by models sculpted in plaster and then cast in porcelain. Gradients are obtained with metallic oxides. Assembly includes stainless steel for the internal systems and concrete for the feet. After drying and firing at 1250°C, each piece is polished and trimmed to perfection.

The Pseudosphere console is inspired by the scene on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The moment of interconnection between God and Adam, through a simple gesture of their fingers, symbolizes the fragile embrace between the divine and the human. This mystical connection between two worlds is reflected in the arrangement of porcelain cones, suspended in balance on the mirror plate, creating a subtle tension between the real and the unreal.
