Restoration of Fort Saint-Nicolas in Marseille
Stone, Metal, Wood

Four trades are taught on the Fort Saint-Nicolas building sites: masonry for old buildings, stone cutting, carpentry and metalwork. The restoration of the site has enabled it to be gradually opened to the public, and Fort Saint-Nicolas has been welcoming visitors since May 2024 thanks to the Citadelle de Marseille association, which manages this shared heritage site where integration, culture, heritage and events coexist. This project is still ongoing in 2025.
