Archive éthérée

Plant moss, jute, linen thread

‘Archive éthérée’ highlights an inconspicuous element of our Parisian environment: mosses, and their bioindicating qualities. Through their ability to retain polluting particles, those bryophytes collect the traces left by their surrounding atmosphere, giving us data regarding its pollution rate. Conceived as a "memory of the air", this installation engages a valorization of those living organisms in urban areas.
