Duo fiole et assiette Roellinger en Verre marin Glaz

The flask* and the hollow plate were designed in 2018 for the restaurant Le Coquillage (Maisons de Bricourt) where the cook Hugo Rœllinger offers pure, simple and gourmet cuisine, telling the story of the bay and the Celtic hinterland. Iodine, sea spray and abysmal smells.. A dialogue between Glaz marine glass and its products, Hugo Rœllinger had imagined a dish featuring seaweed, a broth sublimating the reflections of the glass.

The Glaz, from the old Breton Glas, is this shade located between green and blue used to describe the different shades that can take the sea in Brittany. Naturally colored and micro-bubbled, Glaz marine glass is the first glass developed in 2015 by Atelier Lucile Viaud that can be worked according to traditional glass techniques. Produced from micro-algae and shells, Glaz marine glass is of a natural transparent viridian that subtly evolves according to the seasons and years of mergers.
