Marie-Hélène Guelton, through the practice of resist dyeing, seizes the textile and transforms it to reveal the very essence of the material. Building upon an ancestral technique originating from Asia (known as shibori in Japanese), she develops her research to showcase contemporary artworks in the form of panels or kimonos.
