Association created in 2009, Lainamac aims to regenerate a living and responsible wool sector, composed of actors committed to quality approach, creativity and French relocation. It is developing a unique sector in France, thanks to its roots: between farmland of the Massif Central and land of know-how in the heart of the historical Aubusson tapestry Pole. Concerned about the revival of the French wool sector and the safeguarding of know-how, Lainamac is specialized in the craftman training and the consolidation of engaged economic models.
"Lainamac highlights the wealth of expertise, nestled in the heart of the territories, and supports a network of companies, promising to ensure the regeneration of a living and responsible wool sector."
Lainamac invests the decorative wool sector in coherence with the preferred markets of the French wools. It highlights a wide variety of applications such as carpets, tapestries, textile paintings, furnitures, lightings, mattresses, cushions or plaids and small decorative objects. It supports craftsmen and art manufactures, defenders of exceptional rare crafts.
