Pascal Oudet is an art woodturner based in Grenoble. His pieces are inspired by the effect of the wear of time that reveals the deep structure of natural materials.

"my work is about trees histories made visible"

From carefully selected oak trees, it creates forms of great finesse, of which it then reveals the structure by sandblasting. In a constant balance between aggressiveness to wear the material, and delicacy to preserve its integrity, it goes as far as transparency to give birth to a real wood lace. His creations, combining technical mastery and delicacy, plunge us into the history of trees in a subtle play of matter and light.
