Portrait

Born in Paris in 1980, Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert has been developing and perfecting cane, mouth and freehand glassblowing techniques and cold-working glass for over twenty years.

"There is a technical specificity on which I rely, which for me reveals something about the discourse of matter, which is cosmic, which is universal, which is in emotion. For me, matter expresses itself through this relationship, which I build in a dialogue. It is a meeting between matter and gesture."

Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert lives and works in Paris, where he alternates between creating his contemporary pieces and participating in residencies, workshops, and conferences.
